Review: Coolpad Note 5

Hi guys, here is the review of the all new Coolpad note 5. It has been launched in India on 30th of September and will be available for sale on 20th of october.This phone is priced at Rs.10999 and the features are very nice. When you unbox it, you will get the phone itself, a screen guard, sim ejector tool, a 2 Amp. charger, a good quality data syncing cable, a standard In-ear headphones and some papers.

Sim Configurations

This phone comes with dual sim support (4G+4G) and it also supports VOlte gor HD voice calling. This phone comes with a hybrid sim slot which means that you can use either a sim or a memory card on the second slot.

Body and Design

Metal Back

Coolpad Note 5 comes with full metal back with brushed metal finish. The body design looks much similar to Redmi Note 3. It has touch capacitive buttons with no backlit. On the top front of the phone you will get a 8 megapixel front facing camera,a LED flash and almost all sensors.On the right side of the Phone you will get lock button and the sim tray and on the left side you will get volume button. On the back you will get a 13 megapixel rear camera, a LED flash and a finger print sensor. On the top you will get a 3.5 mm audio jack and in the bottom you will get micro USB slot for data syncing and charging. The overall built quality of the phone is good. 

Screen

The Coolpad Note 5 comes with 5.5 full HD(1080p) display. The viewing angles are nice and the colour production is also very good. The panel used in it is a IPS panel. The brightness of the panel is also very good. It comes with auto brightness mode as it has a ambient light sensor.

Battery

 This phone comes with a non-removable Li-ion 4000mAh battery which is a huge battery. It can cover a day or may be two with the normal usage. The battery temperatures remain normal even while gaming which is really good (however the temperature increases if you play games for long time).

RAM, ROM And Processor

Coolpad Note 3 comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable. 4GB RAM means you can do multitasking very easily even in heavy multitasking the phone perform very good. also it gives 32GB of internal storage which makes the phone to work smooth. You can easily play heavy games like GTA San, Asphalt etc. with no lags.

The processor is a decent one which is a snapdragon 617 octa-core processor. which gives good performance but not as good as Redmi Note 3. You cam play heavy games easily.

Camera

Coolpad note 5 has a 13MP rear camera which take decent photos in sufficient amount of light but it struggles in low light. The front camera is of 8MP and it takes good photos. To cope up with low light conditions company has given front flash.
